Schiff Consulting was established in 2014 and is based in Auckland, New Zealand. Its principal, Dr Aaron Schiff, has more than 20 years of consulting and academic experience as an economist and data analyst.
Aaron gained a PhD in economics from the University of Auckland in 2005 and was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of Economic Research at Hitotsubashi University from 2006 to 2008. As a consultant, Aaron has sucessfully led and delivered many projects for leading business and government organisations.
Aaron specialises in applying data analysis and economics to commercial and policy decisions, and contributes quantitative analysis to evaluation projects.
He is experienced at leading and managing complex consulting projects, and offers personal, responsive service that is excellent value for money. As well as serving clients directly, he regularly collaborates with other consultants and brings economics and data science expertise to larger teams.
Aaron is also a skilled communicator who writes clearly and develops simple and effective data visualisations.
